Who you are dealing with

This site is operated by Registered company name to be confirmed, registration number Company registration number to be confirmed. Using the site means you accept these terms.

What we do

We publish comparison information and guides about insurance and connectivity in South Africa, we provide calculators, and we pass your enquiry to insurers you choose so they can quote you.

What we do not do

  • We are not an insurer and we do not underwrite anything. Your policy is between you and the insurer.
  • We do not give financial advice. Nothing here takes your personal circumstances into account, and no tool output is a recommendation.
  • We do not quote. Every figure on this site is an estimate or published data, and only an insurer can tell you what you will actually pay.
  • We do not guarantee that any insurer will offer you cover, or on what terms.

Our information, and its limits

We source every figure we publish and show the date we last checked it. Data changes, and sometimes a source is wrong. If you spot something that looks incorrect, tell us and we will check it and correct it.

Estimates from our calculators are arithmetic on the numbers you enter. They are useful for understanding the shape of a decision and they are not a substitute for your policy schedule or a quote.

Read your policy wording before you buy. It is the document that decides what happens when you claim, and it beats anything on this site.

Your side

  • Give us accurate information. An enquiry based on wrong details produces a quote that will not hold.
  • Only submit your own details, or details you are allowed to submit.
  • Do not scrape, copy or republish our data or content without asking.
  • Do not try to break, overload or misuse the site.

If something goes wrong

We take care with what we publish, but we cannot accept liability for a decision you take based on general information on a website. Where the law does not allow us to exclude liability, we do not attempt to.

If you believe we have got something wrong or treated you unfairly, our complaints process sets out what to do, including who to escalate to independently.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
